Explore the mysterious waters and myriad islets and limestone formations that create the spectacular seascapes of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. “Halong,” meaning “descending dragon,” refers to legendary creatures sent from the heavens to protect against invaders from the sea. According to legend, these dragons created an impenetrable barrier by belching out clusters of jewels, which have since turned into over 2,000 beautiful limestone islets dotting the bay.
The “Hidden Worlds” itinerary, spanning two days and one night in the tranquil waters of Lan Ha Bay (an extension of Halong Bay), offers a harmonious voyage filled with leisure activities and delightful culinary experiences.
